It has been an honor and privilege to serve the constituents of District 3 for the past three years. We have accomplished much, and I am eager to continue working with citizens, our professional staff, and Council to meet the challenges that lie ahead.
As a resident of New Braunfels, we know that our community is a great place to raise a family, start a business, or retire. I want to continue to do my part as your District 3 City Council representative, to ensure that will still be the case for future generations.

To the citizens of New Braunfels and especially to those in Council District 3, thank you!
I have been told today that with your support we saw the largest margin of victory in District 3 in a contested race and the second largest margin of victory citywide.
Please know that I am humbled by your support and will honor this opportunity to serve. I will continue to work collaboratively with you, city staff, fellow elected officials and our broader community to make New Braunfels a great place to live, work and play.
I wish to personally thank a few people who played a significant role in supporting me throughout this process. Like most organizations it takes a team.
To those that contributed thank you with all my heart. Council is a volunteer commitment and my continued service is made possible with the generous support from many. To all of my neighborhood leaders, thank you for all of your assistance. It truly made a difference.
To my wife Katherine who played so many roles I cannot thank her enough. To my son, Quint, I enjoyed the time we spent together as the best campaign sign crew to put their backs into a job. To my daughter, Beth, thank you for being patient as dad (mom and brother) were away from our home many nights and weekends.
Thanks you Gary Kirkham for agreeing to serve as campaign treasurer. Campaign Treasurer was one of many hats you wore well. To Deb Kirkham, thank you for stuffing envelopes and all of your volunteer efforts. To Lynn Chapman thank you for stuffing envelopes. And last, but certainly not least thank you to Barron Casteel for serving as an invaluable resource and advisor throughout the campaign.
